Based on the books from Julia Quinn, the show is a look at the colorful and sometimes shocking wedding season through the eyes of the wealthy and eccentric Bridgerton family.

Bridgerton Season 3 Release Date

The 13th of April 2021, the show’s creator Chris Van Dusen announced on social media that the show was renewed for season 3 and season 4 too! So, we’ll be seeing two more episodes of the vibrant life of the Bridgertons and the romance that it brings.
In reality, if everything goes according to plan, the show may last for a lengthy time indeed. The first and second seasons are inspired by the first two novels of Julia Quinn’s book series, which includes eight volumes (plus an additional collection of epilogues as well as a short story) there’s plenty of material to make the following seasons.
In November 2021, the director of production Shonda Rhimes announced that the show aims to explore the lives of the entire eight Bridgerton children, even the youngest once they’re old enough. In a subsequent interview, Van Dusen echoed the idea, saying that he hopes that the show will run an average of eight rounds.
Regarding the forthcoming season, there’s no information on the production. Season 3 is likely to follow the storyline of Julia Quinn’s ‘An Invitation from a Gentleman The show follows Benedict Bridgerton as he falls for the elusive Sophie Beckett, the illegitimate daughter of the Earl of Penwood.
Following the death of the Earl, Sophie is at the mercy of her stepmother’s mercy until the second-eldest Bridgerton brother rescues her. Like the first two seasons, the coming season will be a fun celebration of shocking romances.
