God Of Highschool Season 2

With increasing numbers of anime being made and imported on a regular basis, It was just a matter of time until platforms most commonly used for distribution or streaming anime could begin to adapt originals. Crunchyroll announced its first batch, which was originally in the year 2020. One of the shows that made their new series debut was “The God of High School,” an action-packed, martial arts-themed anime based on the manhwa with the same name. It was developed by Park Yongje and published by Webtoon.

It is about Jin Mori, a 17-year-old high school student who is an accomplished fighter of Seoul, South Korea, along with his fellow students as they draw the power of mythical creatures and gods to take on an event run by a shadowy company that is intended to determine the best high schooler out of the bunch. Winners of this event and also known in the form of “The God of High School,” will get their wishes granted by the corporation without any questions asked.

The first season of 13 episodes features animation from MAPPA (“Yuri in Ice,” “Attack on Titan”). It was well-loved by viewers when it premiered. Fans are now buzzing and wondering whether — and when the next season will be announced.

There are generally several factors to consider regarding anime renewals, such as how popular the series is and whether there’s any remaining source material that could be used to adapt it. In this instance, there’s plenty of source material to be adapted from, given that the comic book on the basis “The God of High School” is based is still in production. The anime has been a hit and continues to gain new viewers.

For the casting, it’s most likely that Tatsumaru Tachibana as her character Jin Mori (via My Anime List) will reprise the role for the second season of the show as well, and Han Daewi (Kentaro Kumagai) and Yu Mira (Ayaka Ohashi) who are Mori’s companions who also participate in the tournament that is at the heart of the show might return too. Apart from the casting, all else is in the air. However, If you’d like to watch the first season 1 of “The God of High School” for the moment, The show is available via Crunchyroll as well as HBO Max.
