Is Broforce Crossplay?

Broforce is a side-scrolling platform run-and-gun video game published by Devolver Digital. The game was created as a game jam entry in April 2012. Thanks to developer and popular support, it is still available as an Early Access game. 

On October 15, 2015, the game was released for Microsoft Windows and OS X. Two days later, a Linux port was released. On March 1, 2016, a PlayStation 4 version was released, and on September 6, 2018, a Nintendo Switch port was made available.

Cross-compatible play is a term used to describe the ability for players to use different hardware to simultaneously play online video games. The Broforce game cannot be fully cross-played at this time.

It’s violent and outrageous and a tribute to the crazy action movies of the 80s and 90s. Unique part of the game? Each life, you get a random character. They all have different specials and attacks. All are “bro”-ed caricatures from famous action movie characters like Rambo.

Broforce takes approximately 7 hours to complete if you focus only on the main objectives. You will likely spend 16 1/2 hours if you want to complete the game thoroughly.

Broforce was released as a prototype and is now fully featured. When it was released, it had 23 bros at its last count, two of which were female.

Is Broforce an online co-op?

Broforce is a paramilitary organization that uses excessive force exclusively and is underfunded. When evil threatens the planet, it calls upon the Broforce. You can battle alone, or with four-player online co-op to take down any obstacle in your way to freedom.
