CarX Drift Racing Online is a popular online racing game that has been around for many years. However, it has seen a lot of growth since its introduction to PC in 2017. CarX Drift Racing Online has been available on both PlayStation 4 (Xbox One) and Xbox One.

Crossplay was made possible because CarX is available on four different consoles. There are certain combinations of consoles that can’t match one another, but this could change in the future. You can find everything you need about Crossplay on CarX here

Crossplay in CARX

Crossplay was made possible when CarX launched on the Xbox and PlayStation. Crossplay is now possible for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 gamers to compete in the same lobby.

Crossplay is not available for the original mobile version, despite being around for a long time. Although the PC and mobile games work in the same way mechanically, crossplay is impossible due to the vastly different operating system.

One of the Xbox or PlayStation gamers was not allowed to join a PC server at one time. If a PC gamer created a lobby, and a PlayStation player joined it, no Xbox gamers could follow. This made matchmaking very difficult for many gamers and was frustrating. The developers now fix this.

There are no plans for future crossplay combinations. Crossplay will likely expand to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. If this happens, we expect Series X and PS5 to join the crossplay party. If not at launch, it will be added via an update.
