Far Cry 4 was developed by Ubisoft Montreal in 2014 and published by Ubisoft. It is the sequel to Far Cry 3 (2012) and the fourth installment of the Far Cry series.
The story was inspired in part by the ten-year-long Maoist rebellion in Nepal. Ajay Ghale is a young Kyrati-American, who returns to Kyrat (a fictional Himalayan nation derived from the Kirat ethnicities in Nepal and northern India) to scatter his mother’s ashes.

Far Cry 4 Split Screen
Ubisoft has announced that the Far Cry 4 Campaign won’t be split into a game-to game or game-to multiplayer component. Far Cry 3 offered the possibility to complete missions online, or via split screen co-op. Far Cry 4 will not offer this option at all.

Far Cry 4 offers a multiplayer co-operative mode called “Guns for Hire” that supports up to two players. This mode can be accessed separately from the campaign. Players have the freedom to explore the world, defeat their enemies, and invade outposts along with their companion.
