We’re happy to announce our findings that Roku O.S. is the number. The top smart T.V. operating system is available across the U.S. and Canada, according to NPD’s Weekly Retail Tracking Service. Roku T.V. held 38% of the market share in the U.S. and 31% in Canada, Based on the available data up to Dec. 26, 2020. keeping the top spot across both regions!

Roku T.V. Ready Wireless Soundbar

In addition to expanding the Roku T.V. Ready ecosystem further, Roku today unveiled a new wireless reference design that is compatible with electronic consumer brands. The new design utilizes Roku’s audio technology to wirelessly connect the soundbar to every Roku T.V. version. It’ll provide impressive audio and video synchronization. They are easy to set up without cluttering your home with cords and are controlled via a single Roku T.V. remote. And, it is even more convenient to set it up anywhere in the room!

The new design reference will allow our partners to design and market wireless soundbars with their own brand names. TCL is scheduled to unveil their first ever wireless soundbar and will unveil the details of the device during TCL’s CES 2021 event on Jan. 12

Expanding from the Roku T.V. Ready program in the U.S. and to International markets

In the United States, Element joins the Roku T.V. Ready program and will launch the 2.0 Roku T.V. Ready Soundbar and a 2.1 Roku T.V. Ready Soundbar and Subwoofer later this month. The element will join TCL, Hisense, Enclave, Sound United & Bose, who have all released Roku T.V. Ready certified audio products in the U.S. in 2020. Furthermore, Roku aims to expand the accessibility of the Roku T.V. Ready program globally in the near future. It will also announce partnerships and new products for each country later.
