Written by Chris Winterbauer, ‘Moonshot’ is a story of an unorthodox relationship, mingling it with some sci-fi style tropes. Yet the film is funny. The plot centers on Sophie, who has been with the Martian for the past eight years. However, the long-distance relationship can be challenging; her jaw-lined partner ticks all the right boxes. Sophie’s troubles are over as she signs to join an application to the Mars program. Sophie hopes to travel to the red planet to meet her lover; however, the issue arises when she spots Walt on the spaceship, which has been towing away to fulfill his dream of traveling to Mars.
The trip is a wild ride and takes an entirely unplanned course. With a cast of actors including Cole Sprouse and Lana Condor and a breathtaking production scale, it emphasizes that it’s not the destination but the important journey. The story takes place in a cafe, complete with ambient lighting and even a spaceship showing a glimpse of Mars. But, you might have realized that the crew didn’t go to Mars to film the scene. You’re halfway there; however, do you require the actual location of the film? If yes, we can help you locate the locations.
