How To Crossplay Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042, a 2021 first person shooter video game, was developed by DICE and published in 2021 by Electronic Arts. This is the 12th installment of the Battlefield series. It was released November 19, 2021 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One.

Battlefield 2042, unlike previous games in this series, is entirely multiplayer and has no single-player campaign. Cross-platform play is also possible, which is a first for the series. Battlefield 2042 received mixed reviews and adverse reactions from players due to its technical issues, lack features and changes to gameplay. The game did not meet electronic Arts’ sales expectations.

Cross-Play on and Off Battlefield 2042

S editions of Battlefield 2042 allow you to install the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the game. If your friends haven’t yet upgraded, this makes it easier to play with them.

Cross-play can be turned on or off anytime* via the Options menu.

Cross-play is only possible if you are playing against or with players from the same platform.

Here’s how:

1. Open the Accessibility & Options menu from the main menu.
2. Scroll down to Other from the General tab.
3. Cross-play toggle on or off

Cross-play settings can’t be changed if you are in a group, matchmaking or have joined a server.

You can also manage your friends via the Social menu.

You can see the following information on the Party/Friends screen:

• Your friends who are on the same platform with you
• Any friends you have added to EA Services
• People you have played with in recent times
• People you have blocked

To create a squad with your friends, click the Create Party button

You can see the following information on the Invitations screen:

• EA Party invitations
• EA Friend Requests
• All EA friend requests you have sent
