How To Evolve Gligar BDSP?

Gligar is a Flying and a Ground Type Pokemon and is evolved to become Gliscor which is again a Ground and Flying Type Pokemon, however, the latter one is more aggressive with high HP and the poison heal ability as well. So, it is a great decision if you plan to evolve your Gligar in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

To evolve a Gligar in BDSP, you need first to find one, right? If you haven’t caught any Gligar yet, you will find this exclusive Pokemon in the Grand Underground like in the Swampy Cave, the Rocky Cave, Big Bluff Cave, Sunlit Cave, and Bogsunk Caves.

The spawning rate of this rare Pokemon is quite low, so you will need to put a lot of your time into searching for this Pokemon in all the places we mentioned to find it in at least one of them.

Once you have got a Gligar of your own in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the next step is to find the mandatory evolutionary item required for the evolution process of your Gligar to take place. This item is referred to as a Razor Fang.

You can find this Razor Fang only after defeating the Elite Four and Champion. If you haven’t done this yet, you won’t be able to get this item.

So, once you defeat the Elite Four and Champion, you have to head to the Battle Zone. after becoming the Champion, you need to move to the port which is in Snowpoint City where a Sailor will take you to the Battle Zone.

Now, once you are in the battle zone, you have two ways with you to get a Razor Fang in the game. The first method includes laying around outside the Battle Park. the battle Park is the first major area that can be explored in the Battle Zone. To go to this Park, you need to head to the outside area of the Battle Zone in the southwest corner that leads you to the Battle Tower.

Alternatively, if you don’t wish to opt for the first method, you can also get the Razor Fang if you exchange at least 5 Battle Points at the Battle Tower.

Now that you have the Razor Fang, as well as a Gligar of yours, you are ready to proceed with the evolution. However, the last thing you need to do here is to make your Gligar hold the Razor Fang and after that, you need to level up at least once before the night ends (in the game the time is between 8 pm and 4 am is considered to be the night), so take note of this and your Gligar will be eventually evolved into a Gliscor.
