Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is an arcade-style, combat-style flight simulation video game created as well as published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. A part of the Ace Combat series, it was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2019 as well as for Microsoft Windows the following month.
As with the other games in Ace Combat, like the rest of Ace Combat series, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is devoid of a realistic flight simulation to provide a more rapid arcade-like gameplay that increases the accessibility of new players. Players can also select Novice or Expert control settings. The latter lets the player play realistic flight maneuvers, like roll-overs and high-g turns.
