“PUBG” Battlegrounds (previously called PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds more commonly referred to as simply the PUBG) is an internet-based multiplayer battle royale video game released through PUBG Studios, a subsidiary of Krafton.

The game is based upon previously developed mods by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene for different games, and was inspired by the 1999 Japanese movie Battle Royale, and expanded into a different game under Greene’s direction.

It is a game where as many as 100 players jump off an island to scavenge equipment and weapons to kill each other, while also making sure they don’t get killed.

Unfortunately, as of the time of writing PUBG does not have split screen multiplayer when we’re talking about two players. If you’d like to play with a group of friends, you’ll have to play with two different consoles, and then play with them on the internet.

In addition on PS5, it supports as many as four people, and can be played with either the horizontal or vertical screen split. It is also possible to play split-screen online with other players, but each player must have an individual PSN account.

How do I select a duo in PUBG?

If you go to the screen for team selection, You will see that you only have the option of selecting squads. Unfortunately, this is the only option available for duos currently, and you could blame the developers for this as they’ve lost sight of the fact that there are players on the game who can play in two players. At present, you are playing by playing with 2 randoms.
