The Escapists 2 – Strategy role-playing videogame developed by Mouldy Toof Studios, and published by Team17 It’s the sequel to The Escapists. It was released worldwide on Microsoft Windows, macOS Linux, PlayStation 4 (Xbox One), and Xbox One (August 2017). The game lets players take control of an inmate and view the world from a top-down viewpoint. While the inmate must follow daily prison routines, he or she must also complete quests for other inmates and seek out escape opportunities.

The Escapists 2 Co Op

Drop-in/drop out play is available at The Escapists 2 and allows up to four players to play online and split screen in co-op or versus mode. Open any file in Offline mode to start a split-screen, co-op game. Select a character by pressing any button on the second controller. After closing the session, any money or progress you made with this character cannot be saved.

To invite others to The Escapists 2 select your character and press the Esc key. On the right-hand side of your screen you will see a list of friends. Click on any friend to invite him into The Escapists 2. The steam message will be sent to your friend. To open it, press shift and tab.

Is there an escapist three?

The Escapists 2: A sequel is not in the cards. The team behind the popular series has released a new title similar to the prison escapee-RPG.

Are The Escapists 2 worth the switch?

The Escapists 2 can still be enjoyed, even if it isn’t as enjoyable as the original. It can also be played in short bursts due to how the game and save mechanisms work. Each day lasts around fifteen minutes.
