Bannerlord Smithing Guide 2022

If you are planning to start smithing in the game Bannerlord, you will first have to go to a town. You will find the Enter Smithy option in the town interface in all the cities. 

There are 3 different menus Smithy has that the warlords can use. The stamina of the character is used when you use any of these interfaces. With the increasing smithing levels, the stamina will also increase by +1, +2, and so on. 

As the earning capacity is directly proportional to your crafting skills in Bannerlord, it is quite crucial for you to learn the skill of smithing, which is not even that tough. 

Rather than crafting weapons of high quality, all you have to do is smelt weapons and tools which is the easiest and the quickest way of making your skill of smithing better. 

You can hunt the bandits that are weak and then steal gear from them which you can smelt down. Apart from that, you can also sell all the resources that you obtain and you will be able to earn a huge amount of money.

There is one important item that you are going to need here – Charcoal. Charcoal is required to smelt a weapon. Now you must be wondering how to get charcoal in Bannerlord. Well, all you have to do is smelt two hardwood components. Again, another question, how to get these hardwood components? So, for this, you will need to smelt weapons such as spears or bows. 

Furthermore, once you have reached level 25 and unlocked Efficient Charcoal Maker, you will always have charcoal with you from then onwards. 

Keep going with the gameplay and you will keep finding various resources there. You are going to need a large number of resources to be good at smithing. These will include Steel, Thamaskene Steel, Iron, Iron Ore, Hardwood, Fine Steel, Charcoal, and Crude Iron. 

Remember that you have to smelt the weapons that are newly forged so that you can raise your smithing level quickly.

Another way to level fast in smithing is to order Adventure, however, it is a bit time-consuming, but you might opt for it as it is full of fun. 

Every town has 6 smithing orders to enter. So, enter a town, find Orders that want Axes, Polearms, or Two-Handed swords and complete the orders that you take. 

Even if you fail to complete the orders, you will still receive a lot of XP, more than what you get on crafting items without any order. Then repeat the process in a different town, and this way, you will be able to level up your smithing in Bannerlord. 

Even after doing just 10 orders (in varying towns), you will increase your smithing level from 1 to nearly 100.
