5 Highly-Anticipated Games To Be Released In 2023
I can’t speak for all of you or anything, but I’m already feeling quite spoiled after looking at the gaming catalog of 2023. It’s massive, exciting, and beefier than 2022.
And, I love it.
So, in this article, I’ll talk about five of them, which I’ve been waiting for quite a while. Apart from the names, you can also find a little more information about the games here.
So, I’ll request you to stay with me till the end.
5 Games To Look Out For In 2023
Most of the games I’ll be talking about here are coming to PC. Thus, you can either purchase them from Steam or download them from The Pirate Bay for free when available.
Sounds good?
Okay, then let’s not talk about the dilly-dallies anymore and get on with our topic of games to look out for in 2023. The ride begins… now.
Baldur’s Gate 3 – The New Gemstone Of Larian Studios!
Did you enjoy getting submerged in the immersive world of Divinity: Original Sin 2? Then, I think you’re going to LOVE the new installment in the long-running Baldur’s Gate series.
As it’s a Larian game, the gameplay will feel a little similar to the Divinity series. In addition, the storyline is going to be entirely new and fresh too.
The Best Thing: Like the Divinity series, Baldur’s Gate 3 comes with a boatload of classes. Each of them is going to get something new to the table and offer an illuminating grace to the CRPG of Larian Studios. And, Spoiler Alert, the graphics of the game looks AMAZING!
Alan Wake 2 – A Worthy Comeback Of The Fabled Alan!
A classic story-driven horror title, a hype-worthy protagonist, and an excellent ambiance – Alan Wake was, indeed, a gem of 2010. But, after the first game, it was nowhere to be found.
Remedy came up with another game, Quantum Break, and didn’t talk about Alan Wake at all, until recently. Alan Wake 2 will be up for the grabs in 2023 and I can’t help but be excited.
The Best Thing: Remedy didn’t say much about the premise of Alan Wake 2, though. But, it is known that they’re going to dabble with the survival-horror genre a little more. Oh, and, no – you won’t be able to use a gun anymore, as the game will be purely survival-focused.
3. The Wolf Among Us 2 – Bigby Wolf Is Back!
After enduring a 9-year long development hell, Bigby Wolf is back. And he’s here with a new and immersive experience regarding the internally-corrosive Fabletown.
The storyline of the game will pick up after six months since the Crooked Man sentencing. It is still a mystery about how the next season of the series will unfold. But, it’s still exciting.
The Best Thing: The new TWAU game, like any other Telltale series, will be released in an episodic manner. However, looking at the trailer, it seems like the gameplay will be as it was in the previous game. The graphics might improve a little, though.
4. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – The Return Of A Modern Classic!
The age-old Spider-Man series was almost lost and forgotten until Insomniac Games decided to pick it up from the dirt again. And, what an entry it was.
Marvel’s Spider-Man boasted an exciting fighting system with a flawless plotline from every accord. Worthy of being a console exclusive if you ask me.
The Best Thing: We’ll be controlling the web-slinging superhero with Miles Morales again in the brand new game. It’s still not revealed how the storyline will unfold. However, I know for a fact that Venom will be there alongside Kraven the Hunter, and maybe Green Goblin.
5. Kill The Justice League – No Fun In Being A Hero Anymore.
The new edition of the Suicide Squad is coming, and it isn’t about tackling a villain anymore. Now, you’ll have to kill the Justice League. Yeah, Superman, Batman, and all that.
The gameplay will follow the same beat ‘em up style. However, in this one, you’ll get to go through a vast open-world and a more interactive environment.
The Best Thing: The storyline of the game is pretty unique. A villain, known as Brainiac, is trying to brainwash the superheroes to demolish the world. And, the playable characters, like Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot have to abolish them.
