Hawken is a no-cost multiplayer mech-based first-person shooter game. The game focuses on creating an exciting combat experience that captures the experience of controlling mechs, and making the action quick-paced and tactical.
The game comes with three modes of play: Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch Co-op bot, and Deathmatch Team Deathmatch. It is based on the freemium game monetisation model using in-game purchases as the primary income source.
On January 2nd, 2018 HAWKEN was taken off Steam and the DLC it came with. It is still available on consoles and is being created through Hawken Entertainment and published by 505 Games. Hawken does not feature crossplay.
