Is The Ascent split screen?

The Ascent, a cyberpunk-themed action-role-playing video game, was developed by Neon Giant (a Swedish indie gaming studio) and published by Curve digital for Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on 29th July 2021. The Ascent was created using Unreal Engine 4, by 12 people, and is Neon Giant’s debut in this industry.

The Ascent Split Screen 2022

Many multiplayer-savvy gamers are curious if The Ascent will offer split-screen coop, making it easier to play certain multiplayer games.

Unfortunately, The Ascent’s four-player multiplayer has one camera, just like Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Diablo. This isn’t necessarily the worst thing.

Many multiplayer fans hoped that The Ascent would offer split-screen co-op to make things easier for everyone, but action RPGs such as these can be played with only one camera.

We are excited to see how The Ascent’s multiplayer affects Xbox gamers, especially as it is expected to be more difficult than single-player because the game adapts to the number of players.

Although trailers suggest that there won’t be any split-screen multiplayer in The Ascent’s, it is always possible to be added as DLC. However, that’s only speculation if we are being truthful.

The Ascent will be available for purchase on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.

How can you play couch coop at The Ascent

Click Online Coop or Couch Co Op while you are on the main menu. Click Online if you wish to play online, but click Couch to play with another person in the same room. The next step is to choose whether you want to host a saved game or host a new one.
