How To Get Frenzied Flame Ending In Elden Ring?

Like many other role-playing games, Elden Ring provides the option to choose their game ending to the players. It’s also a matter of the player’s actions as they influence the ending of the game. For many of these endings, the player must follow several NPC’s quests or sidequests to reach there. 

Frenzied Flame Ending is one of the many endings provided by Elden Ring that the player can choose by following specific steps. To get this ending, the player must go to the Subterranean Shunning Grounds> look for Mohg the Omen> defeat the enemy, and go through the Hidden path> solve the puzzle, and finally get to the three fingers> defeat Elden Beast> become the Lord of Frenzied Flame.

How To Get Frenzied Flame Ending?

Elden Ring provides the players with six different game endings and the players have the option to choose one from them. However, these endings are difficult and many even are hidden. The players must complete the various NPC’s Questline to get these endings and must finish them before fighting with the final boss. The six different game endings include- Age of Fracture Ending, Age of Order Ending, Age of Stars Ending, Age of Duskborn Ending, Age of Despair ending, and the Lord of Frenzied Flame. 

In order to get the Frenzied Flame Ending, the player must start by traveling to Leyndell, The Royal Capital. From there, look for the Subterranean Shunning Grounds which appears as a sewer under the Royal Capital. The path through the sewer has various hurdles and some enemies in between so carefully walk through there. After completing this pathway, go to the Site of Grace and rest there. 

After resting when you start the journey again, you will find a chapel, and walking through there will lead you to Mohg the Omen waiting for you. You might find the path to reach the boss hard but fighting him isn’t that difficult. Be alert and fight Mohg and it won’t take you long to defeat him. After defeating Mohg, you will find an altar towards the end of the room, hitting this altar will reveal a hidden path you must proceed on. 

Follow again this elongated hidden pathway till you reach the gate at the end. Interacting with the gate is a puzzling situation as it will only open if the player removes their weapons and all armor pieces. Choose to open the gate after unequipping your stuff and you will finally get to the Three Fingers. After some more interactions, you will get the Flame of Frenzy. Then complete the game and fight with Elden Beast, the final boss. 

You will later interact with Fractured Marika and then choose the option to “Become the Lord Of Frenzied Flame”. The player must be aware that after getting this ending, they will be locked out of all other game endings.

Can you get Frenzied Flame Ending after burning Erdtree? 

Yes, you can get Frenzied Flame Ending after burning Erdtree but you will be devoid of the bonus end cutscene involving Melina.

Do you need to do Hyetta’s Quest for Frenzied Flame Ending?

There doesn’t seem to be any effect of Hyetta’s Quest on the Frenzied Flame Ending but the player will receive the Frenzied Flame Seal required to strengthen Frenzied Flame Incantations. 

Do you need to be a Wretch to get the Frenzied Flame Ending?

Yes, you need to be a wretch to get the Frenzied Flame Ending. You must unequip everything like your weapons, gears, talismans, etc to enter through the door and get to the three fingers to finally reach the Frenzied Flame Ending.
