How To Play Crossplay On Rainbow Six Siege?

The integrity of competition is a primary goal for Ubisoft and it’s no shock that full crossplay between console and PC will not be included for Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft has said it’s “wary” about introducing the feature because of the advantages of using a mouse or keyboards over controllers.

Rainbow Six Siege currently supports cross-progression, cross-play in the same console family, across PC, and Stadia. This means you can transfer your progress between your PC or Stadia account, or between your PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as well as the Xbox One and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Ubisoft hasn’t spoken about this issue yet, however it’s safe to say it’s likely that Rainbow Six Mobile will not include crossplay. It was revealed as a separate game distinct to Rainbow Six Siege in many ways.

Rainbow Six Siege currently only has crossplay available for consoles that are part of that same group. This means there’s cross-play between PC and Stadia but not between consoles.

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players also can compete with other generations, and so can Xbox consoles. However, PlayStation and Xbox gamers aren’t able play one another. This is great for friends groups with a few players with next-gen consoles sooner than others, but crossover isn’t as good for gamers from different console families that wish to play together.
