It’s the sequel to Dragon Quest Builders, and it was released on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan in December of 2018 and in the world in July, 2019 to Microsoft Windows in December 2019 and for it to the Xbox One in May 2021. The game sold over one million copies by the end of August 2019 and received mostly positive reviews from the critics.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 does not support split-screen in any way. Multiplayer can be played online, and you can play it online under certain conditions. This is how it works.

If you are interested in playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 multiplayer it is necessary to advance in the narrative first. Learn the basics aboard the pirate vessel, then travel through Awakening Island. Island of Awakening and do the first quest on the island with the farm located at Furrowfield.

Continue your journey through the story until you’ll gain access to an online portal. It’s located in the Island of Awakening not far from the mooring point of your boat at the shore. To get there, climb up and connect to the portal.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 multiplayer is available only with your friends or a group of friends. Additionally, you can only play with the Island of Awakening. Go online, and Malroth disappears. Here you can invite your friends. It is also possible to make it available to members of your friends. After you’ve invited someone to join, you’re now free to create your personal Sandbox.

Check out the multiplayer options too because you can toggle several options that restrict the use of explosives. If you’re not confident in your companions to not undo all the hard work that you put into it, you might want to avoid inviting them in the first place.
