Undertale is a 2D role-playing game developed by American Indie creator Toby Fox. The player is an infant who has fallen into the Underground, a vast isolated, private area beneath the surface of Earth and separated by a mysterious barrier.
The player will encounter numerous monsters on the way to the surface, however, some monsters may confront players in battle. Combat systems involve the player traversing miniature-bullet hells attacks by their adversaries.
They can choose to soothe or subdue monsters to keep them from killing them. Their choices affect the game’s play, with characters, dialogue, and story evolving based on the outcome.
