Senran Kagura Estival Versus, an action game created by Tamsoft, is published by Xseed Games. It is part of the Senran Kagura Series. It was released on PlayStation4 on March 16, 2016 and PlayStation Vita (P.C. on March 17, 2017).
The game follows girls’ adventures from rival kunoichi schools, as they are teleported onto a mysterious tropical island-like planet and challenged to defend shinobi lore. Although the game received high praise for its story and gameplay, some critics found it too heavy on fan service.

C.J. Andriessen from Destructoid gave the game a 75/100 rating. He said he enjoyed the “combination between flashy action, fan service” but that the game’s story did not do it any favors and was not the best in its series. The Vita version was playable but not as good as the PS4 version.
Jason Bohn, Hardcore Gamer, rated the game 3/5. He called the game “aggressively stupid” and “dumb fun”. He said that the game could be interpreted as objectifying women but it was played with a “wink” and a “nudge”, and that he wouldn’t be embarrassed to play it in the same room with his wife because the characters were strong.
